Our telephone Advice Line service is usually open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (subject to volunteer availability).
Calls are free from a BT landline, depending which call plan you are on. Charges may vary from other landline providers and mobile phones please check before dialling.
We receive hundreds of calls every month, so there are times when our phone lines get very busy and you may not be able to get through immediately. You may wish to leave a voicemail and we will endeavour to return your call within 72 hours, or alternatively you may wish to email us. We aim to reply to all email and written enquiries within 7 working days.
You can call us with any concerns you may have about OCD or accessing treatment, and our team will be there to provide an understanding and sympathetic ear. All of our team have direct experience of living with OCD and have hundreds of hours of experience between them in advising others.
There are a number of alternative ways of getting information about OCD when we are not able to accept your call:
If you are depressed and suicidal and need urgent advice please call NHS Direct on 0845 46 47.
Our Advice Line support service is totally funded by charitable donations. Should you find our advice team helpful, please do consider supporting the work of OCD-UK by making a donation, or becoming a member.
