Park Inn by Radisson

The venue for our 2019 conference

The Park Inn by Radisson is located in Northampton Town Centre and just 200 meters from the town centre and main bus station. It's also just half a mile from Northampton train station (10-12 minutes walk).

The hotel location also offers you easy access to Northampton's key sites should you wish to make a weekend of it in this picturesque market town of Northampton.

The best way to explore this medieval town is on foot, stroll through the many streets that are named after the town’s medieval trading history in gold, silver and even sheep!  Stroll past buildings from every age of British history. Look out for the Holy Sepulchure (1100), All Saints' Church (1680) and the Guildhall (1864).

Northampton was granted its first charter in 1189 and quickly became a thriving town for its markets and fairs. After much of the town was destroyed by fire in 1675, Northampton was rebuilt to make its name in the shoe and leather manufacturing industry.  Going pedestrian couldn't be more appropriate – in the 18th century Northampton was the shoe capital of the UK.

Explore this town’s heritage with a trip to Abington Park Museum and stunning Guildhall, sample the many restaurants and bars, or enjoy a little retail therapy in Northampton’s shopping district. Some of the town's most popular attractions include 78 Derngate, the Northampton Museum & Gallery, and the Royal and Derngate Theatre.
