Two ways to run in 2027 for OCD-UK
We hope you were inspired by other fantastic OCD-UK London Marathon runners like Jan and Claire pictured, if so, there are two ways you can secure a place to run the London Marathon for OCD-UK next year which takes place on Sunday 25th April 2027.
- Secure a public ballot place
- Apply for an OCD-UK charity place

Public Ballot
The public ballot entry system for the 2027 TCS London Marathon opens around the time of this years event, and will only remain open for just a few days. Should you be successful you can choose to run for OCD-UK and you set your own fundraising amount, be that £100 or £1000, every penny really does help us continue to support others affected by OCD. To apply for one of the public London Marathon ballot places please keep an eye on the London Marathon website.OCD-UK Charity Places
You can also apply for an OCD-UK charity place, which we are asking fundraisers to pledge to raise a minimum of £2,250. Our places are limited and will be in demand with 100+ people applying for our 2026 places. If you think you are up for this fantastic challenge for OCD-UK please scroll below for further information and details on how to apply. We hope to advise all successful applicants before the end of June 2026.Why do we ask for £2,250?
The reason we ask for such an amount to be raised is to help us pay for the cost of our London Marathon places which we have to purchase and to maximise the fundraising potential to ensure we can continue our invaluable work supporting others affected by OCD.
You can apply for both, and if you do end up being successful with both applications, we can reallocate the charity place to another runner.
