OCD Support Groups – Remotely through Zoom
Because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic all OCD-UK hosted support groups are currently suspended.
Therefore, OCD-UK have been hosting Zoom video support group meetings every Tuesday and Thursday since August. There will also be regular themed meetings on Wednesday's. Please scroll down for further information about all meetings.
About the Meetings
There are two weekly support group meetings on a Tuesday and Thursday which are open OCD support groups for anyone to join, open to people with OCD or family members/partners/friends of OCD sufferers (aged 18 years and over). There will also be a regular Wednesday meeting which will have a different theme and be open to different groups or for those with a specific interest in that session's theme.
Meeting Dates - Tuesday Evenings
All meetings start at 7pm and will last for approximately 60-90 minutes.

- Tuesday 9th February - (Registration closed. - Meeting at capacity).
- Tuesday 16th February - (Registration closed. - Meeting at capacity).
- Tuesday 23rd February - (Registration closed. - Meeting at capacity).

All meetings start at 10:15am and will last for approximately 60-90 minutes.

If you wish to take part in any of these meetings you will need to register in advance for each meeting you wish to be part of. Click the link on the meeting date you wish to register for. Please note we may close registration once capacity is reached.
If registration is closed due to maximum capacity but you would like to attend, please contact: groups@ocduk.org to be placed on a cancellation list. You will be notified if a place becomes available.
Once registered the Zoom system will email you a meeting link. It is that link you will use to access the meeting so please keep this email/link safe.
Group Cancellations
If you are unable to attend the meeting, please cancel your place as soon as possible by following the cancel link in the original Zoom registration confirmation email or please contact us via email: groups@ocduk.org
This helps us to offer the place to other individuals who wish to attend. Unfortunately, due to a high number of no shows at recent meetings preventing people on our cancellation lists from attending, we may have to restrict registration where multiple no shows have occurred.

An opportunity for people aged 50+ to share their experiences about OCD in a supportive and non-judgemental environment. Hosted by Ashley & Catherine.
- Wednesday 20th January 7pm - Friends and Family (for people supporting a loved one with OCD)
An opportunity for friends and family members (18+) who support someone with OCD to share their experiences in a supportive and non-judgemental environment. Hosted by Kirstie & Monica.
- Wednesday 27th January 7pm - OCD & Autism
An opportunity for people (18+) with OCD & Autism to share their experiences in a supportive and non-judgemental environment. Hosted by Kirstie & Zoe.
- Wednesday 3rd February - (No meeting due to staff training).
- Wednesday 10th February 7pm - Body Focused Repetitive Behaviours (Hosted by Anxiety UK & OCD-UK)
An opportunity for people (18+) to share their experiences about Body Focused Repetitive Behaviours (Trichotillomania, Excoriation Disorder - Skin picking, cheek and lip biting) in a supportive and non-judgemental environment. Hosted by Anxiety UK & OCD-UK.
- Wednesday 17th February 7pm - OCD & Recovery
An opportunity for people (18+) affected by OCD to share their experiences and discuss OCD and Recovery in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Hosted by Kirstie & Nick.
- Wednesday 24th February 7pm - OCD in the Workplace
An opportunity for people (18+) with OCD to share their experiences about OCD in the workplace in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Hosted by Ashley & Kirstie.
If you wish to take part in any of these themed meetings you will need to register for each individual meeting you wish to be part of before the day of the meeting.

Data Policy
By registering for one of our meetings you do so accepting our data policy on the sharing of data between Zoom (our provider of meeting services) and OCD-UK. We take registration data (name and email address) from zoom and store securely. Data will be stored for the length of this online group project (2 years) but can be removed upon request prior to that. Your data will not be used by OCD-UK for any other marketing purposes other than sending information about the groups you register for and inviting feedback about these groups.
