Is recovery hard? Absolutely.
Is recovery worth it? Definitely, without a shadow of a doubt.

I've found recovery challenging, and I think it's all too easy to think that recovery just isn't working out.

Yes, I'm still struggling with my OCD, but recovery has helped me achieve so much. Whether it be being able to put my socks on, or having gotten into medical school, my efforts to recover from OCD have not gone to waste.

If you feel like you're at a lower point in recovery and exposures seem more challenging, and you begin to doubt why you're recovering remember this:
Recovery is not linear.
Your best is good enough.
You can do this.
