Online Parent Workshop – Friday 27th March 2026
Welcome to our parent project!
Unfortunately, people have been struggling to access tickets to our workshops recently as the events have been booking up almost immediately each time we release a new workshop date.
However, we have recently released tickets for a workshop which will take place on Friday 27th March 9:15am – 2:15pm. This workshop will have more attendees so that we can reach more parents who have been struggling to get access to the parent workshops.
This workshop covers the exact same educational content and agenda, but differs slightly because:
- It has more attendees (50, instead of 14)
- It is shorter (2:15pm finish instead of 3:15pm)
- Questions are still welcomed all day, however, they will be asked in a Q&A box instead of over the microphone
- In the smaller workshops attendees have the chance to introduce themselves and explain a bit about why they are there (however, the time for this in the smaller workshops is still limited because the focus is education and it is not a support group). There won’t be any introductions for the larger workshops
- Cameras do not have to be on for the larger workshops, although some parents do choose to have them on and this is welcomed
The larger workshop is not in addition to the smaller workshops, and attendees won’t have the choice to attend both (the content is the same). However, all workshop attendees, regardless of which workshop they choose, have the opportunity to attend as many online parent evening support groups as they wish to – these support groups are specifically for verbally sharing your experiences and listening to other parents for peer support. - This workshop is not a support group, it’s an educational workshop to help parents to learn more about OCD. If you were looking for more of a support group setting where you can share, talk, and listen to others, you can visit here to book on our next online parent support group
- We can’t offer tickets to people who have already attended an online or an in-person workshop
- This event should be used in the same way an in-person event would be, and therefore it has been designed for attendees to attend for the entire workshop. If you have an appointment on this day, or you can’t stay for the full workshop, we advise you to look at booking a different workshop so you can attend the full day
- Due to confidentiality, attendees will not be able to join from offices or locations where there are other people around them. Attendees and volunteers will be sharing personal experiences which are of a sensitive nature and confidentiality should be respected at all times
