You aren't alone: In conversation with OCD-UK Young Ambassadors

 Friday 18th November 2022
 5:15pm - 6:15pm
Speakers
Mia, India and Minnie

Presentation subject

Are you a young person between the ages of 13 – 25, suffering because of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder? If so, come along to this talk! OCD-UK facilitators will be interviewing young ambassadors Mia, India, and Minnie as they talk about their lived experience with OCD. In this webinar, the young ambassadors will be talking about their experiences with OCD to offer hope to other young people who are struggling, and to make them feel less alone. There will be a section at the end for a Q&A, where you will be able to anonymously ask questions to the young ambassadors.
About the hosts
Mia, India & Minnie are all Young Ambassadors for OCD-UK, who took part in the children in need funded project for young people with OCD. During their time as young ambassadors, they worked hard raising awareness for OCD by creating videos, poems, and blogs to make other young people with OCD feel less alone. Now that the young ambassador project is over, Mia, India & Minnie continue to raise awareness by spreading the word about what it really means to suffer from OCD.
This conference presentation will not be recorded and is only available live.

Make a donation to OCD-UK
We know that right now we are all living through difficult times financially, and it’s for that reason we have chosen to make our conference free access this year. Whilst the conference is free access, the charity does still have to pay Zoom and Vimeo license fees which power our online conference, so if you are in a position to make a donation of any amount, we would be incredibly grateful. It is only through donations, and the participation of our supporters fundraising activities that OCD-UK can survive, so we remain incredibly grateful for your consideration.
