OCD during the holidays

For many young people, the summer holidays are soon approaching or have already started and while this can be an exciting time, it can also be extremely daunting for people suffering from OCD. With so much free time, it means that it can be easier for intrusive thoughts to creep in which means that it's more important than ever to distract yourself to make sure that you can still enjoy your summer. Here are some ways to distract yourself over the summer!

  1. Read a book
  2. Listen to music
  3. Meet up with your friends
  4. Have a bath
  5. Watch your favourite TV show or movie
  6. Try playing a new instrument
  7. Do some drawing
  8. Take a scenic walk
  9. Go on a run
  10. Listen to a podcast

If you are struggling with your OCD, make sure to reach out to someone that you trust 🙂
