Speakers

Professor Adam Radomsky, Concordia University, Montréal, QC

Presentation subject

Mental contamination has been defined as feelings of dirtiness and/or washing behaviour that arise in the absence of direct contact with a contaminant. This session will feature a brief introduction to mental contamination by Professor Radomsky, highlighting some key features of the problem and recent research that points towards improving treatments, but will then move to a period of Q & A where attendees can ask questions about mental contamination (or other aspects of OCD) and Professor Radomsky will answer them. Questions may also be submitted ahead of time at conference@ocduk.org

Make a donation to OCD-UK
We know that right now we are all living through difficult times financially, and it’s for that reason we have chosen to make our conference free access this year. Whilst the conference is free access, the charity does still have to pay Zoom and Vimeo license fees which power our online conference, so if you are in a position to make a donation of any amount, we would be incredibly grateful. It is only through donations, and the participation of our supporters fundraising activities that OCD-UK can survive, so we remain incredibly grateful for your consideration.
