OCD Conference & Webinar FAQ

Yes, the 2022 conference is free to watch live or the subsequent recordings.
We know that right now we are all living through difficult times financially, and it’s for that reason we have chosen to make our conference free access this year. Whilst the conference is free access, the charity does still have to pay Zoom and Vimeo license fees which power our online conference, so if you are in a position to make a donation of any amount, we would be incredibly grateful. It is only through donations, and the participation of our supporters fundraising activities that OCD-UK can survive, so we remain incredibly grateful for your consideration.

No, the recordings of the individual presentations will be freely available on our website without the need to sign-up or register with OCD-UK. We do give OCD-UK members a short period of time with exclusive access to the recordings, but the recordings will then become freely available to all via our main website.

Because we have so many great presentations, we do have some overlaps. However, our plan is to record around 90% of the presentations and make them available within 3 or 4 weeks post conference. If you go to the individual presentation page you're interested in, if you see this icon  , then the presentation is planned to be recorded.

During the conference Yes. We have a busy schedule, so we may need to adjust some timings. However our webinar series are one-off events and planned in advance, so timings are unlikely to change.

Yes. All times listed on the OCD-UK website are UK time.

Yes, unless you choose otherwise. The majority of presentations are webinars which means only the presenter and host will show on screen. Should you wish to type a question, your chosen username will show, but you can rename yourself should you wish to.

The conference and our webinars are aimed at service-users but we do welcome any health professionals that would like to attend to improve their understanding.

The conference is aimed at service-users rather than health professionals so we can't say if it will contribute towards CPD. However, as we are not trainers, we assume it will not. We are not offering certificates of attendance.
