2021 Virtual OCD-UK Conference - Welcome to Hotel OCD-UK, flying the flag for recovery!

The Geography of Recovery

Broadcast live on Sunday 28th November 2021

Followed by conference closing by the OCD-UK team.
Speaker
Mark Freeman

Presentation subject

We'll explore why it's natural to get stuck on a plateau during the recovery journey. The tools that may help us initially, can become part of the problem as we progress. It's helpful to adapt our approach and the skills we use if we want to keep moving forward and leave OCD behind.
About the speaker
In Mark's own words, "I help people change stuff. I support individuals and organizations around the world as they navigate the complexities of doings they've never done before and, most importantly, sustaining those changes. I believe in taking a proactive, preventive approach to maintaining and improving mental health. I know first-hand that recovery from mental illness is possible and I'm driven to create products and services that make recovery and mental health skills more accessible to people around the world."

We know that right now we are all living through difficult times financially, and it’s for that reason we have chosen to make our conference free access this year. Whilst the conference is free access, the charity does still have to pay Zoom and Vimeo license fees which power our online conference, so if you are in a position to make a donation of any amount, we would be incredibly grateful. It is only through donations, and the participation of our supporters fundraising activities that OCD-UK can survive, so we remain incredibly grateful for your consideration.
